| Toyota: 4Runner vs. Sienna |
19 Aug |
If you’re in the market for a new van or SUV then a good manufacturer to look at is Toyota. Toyota makes a number of different large vehicles like this. Two popular choices are the Toyota Sienna and the Toyota 4runner.
Let’s put these vehicles head to head to see how they compare to one another:
- The Toyota Sienna is a van. The Toyota 4runner is an SUV.
- The Toyota Sienna was first made in the 1990’s. The Toyota 4runner was first made in the 1980’s.
- It may be easier to find Toyota Sienna parts than to find Toyota 4runner parts.
- The Toyota Sienna tends to be considered less stylish than the Toyota 4runner although this depends on personal preference.
- The Toyota Sienna doesn’t generally get as many miles per gallon as the Toyota 4runner does. This means that the Toyota 4runner is considered to be a greener vehicle.
- The Toyota Sienna may be slightly less expensive than the Toyota 4runner.
- There will be a new design for both vehicles in 2011. They’re supposed to see major improvements at that time.
It’s interesting to see the similarities and differences between these two Toyota vehicles. Which one do you think is the one that’s a better vehicle to buy?

When getting a Cancun rental car, be sure to ask about the license plate. If you park illegally in Mexico, the police will take the license plate. You will then have to go to the police station. In order to get the plate back, you will have to pay a fine. If you return the car to the rental company without a plate, the company will charge you a fee. The fee is to cover the cost of having to track the license plate down. If you see that your rental car does not have a license plate, ask the rental company about it before driving the car away. Some cars do not have plates but only a paper taped to the back window.
You should also be aware that the gas station scam is somewhat common in Mexico. Keep in mind, when getting rental cars in Cancun you will probably have to fill the gas tank at some point. Gas stations in Mexico have attendants. Some attendants will fill your car without clearing that last purchase from the pump first. When you pull up to the pump, quickly get out of the car and make sure that the pump is cleared to zero.
