If you ask any of my friends, they would tell you that I am one of the least handy people that they know.  But in their next breath, they would tell you that at least I try to be handy, and that it is something that I am working on.

As a child, my father never really let me do anything, so I didn’t learn how to be hands on with many things.  This has meant that I need to go out on my own to try and be a handy person for my family, and that has been a challenge.

When it comes to cars, I am not very good either, but I have been trying my best to learn.  I can change the spark plugs, change tires, and I have been known to even change a fuse or two.  But the one thing that I have wanted to learn for a long time is how to change oil, and that is what I am doing today.

Instead of buying a book or asking a friend, I have been looking online for a guide on how to do it.  The beauty of the Internet is that chances are that I can find a video that I can watch and follow to get the job done.

Well, I am going to try it out, and I’ll report back as to how it went – wish me luck!
