I have a buddy that is a police officer and he is part of the K9 unit. For the last couple of years he had a basic squad car, a crown Victoria, that had been only slightly modified to accommodate the dog in the back seat. He never complained about the car, and he even got to keep it at his house since it was specially marked as a K9 unit and since the dog lives with him.
Last month though, the police force stepped it up and bought him a brand new Ford Explorer. And let me tell you that this thing has all of the bells and whistles. When it comes to truck parts and accessories, they did more to this thing than slap some lights on top and stick a computer in the front seat. It has all kinds of special performance stuff like a fancy suspension and a Quadzilla performance tuner for the engine. And the dog gets a special crate that looks like it was custom made to fit into the back of the Explorer complete will all kinds of drawers for storage. Seriously, every inch of space in the back of his truck has been used with the special equipment. You know that he likes his new truck better than that old car.

Alright, so it’s not the most common question that you’ve ever heard asked, but it something worth wondering about.
